Our Story

​Lawley Livestock is a family-owned farm and ranch located in Alvo NE (Right off I-80 between Lincoln and Omaha).  We specialize in ultra-premium beef that provides a superior eating experience.  If you like fine wines, top shelf bourbons, and exquisite foods, then you are going to love our beef. 

 

We pay attention to every detail to provide our customers with top quality beef that is hard to find.  We are from multi-generational cattle families and ourselves have been raising cattle all our lives.  This isn’t just something we do, it is our passion, our lives, it is who we are.

 

Our mission is not just to provide beef to our customers, but to provide an extraordinary eating experience.

How Bout it?

What Makes Us Different?

Do you know any farms that have a guarantee you will like our beef or we will buy it back from you?

 

Here is why we are so confident in the quality of our beef that we guarantee you will be happy or we will buy it back.

 

-We start with quality Angus (highest marbling breed) based cows and breed to our own registered angus bulls.

-We know the genetics of our mama cows.  We breed them and raise their calves from birth all the way until harvest. We don’t buy any outside cattle to feed as we wouldn’t know their history.

-We don’t use hormones or antibiotics in their feed. We raise our cows on green grass in the summer, corn stalks in the fall/winter and feed them alfalfa in the spring. 

-We provide our cattle with vitamins, minerals and salt year around.

-Our beef is corn fed to finish them along with grass hay resulting in a well marbled, tender and tasty product.

-We harvest our animals when they are less than 30 months old,

-We dry age our beef by hanging the carcass for 21 days, 7 to 10 days longer than most. 

-The welfare of our animals is our top priority. 

-We work closely with our customers to explain the cuts of meat to ensure they get the beef cuts they desire.

How it Works

We offer Angus quarter, half and whole beef.

 

We offer American Wagyu eighth, quarter, half and whole beef.

 

We offer American Wagyu individual cuts and bundles.

Angus quarter, half or whole Beef

 

The First step is to reserve your quantity and time frame for your beef.  We set a date at the meat locker and deliver the animal. We work with you to help you decide what cuts you want, how thick to cut them, and how to best package them for your preferences. Our beef is different from what you would buy in the store.  It is 100% sourced from the animals we breed and raise. We hang our beef for 21 days, making it tender and flavorful. Lastly, we feed our beef extra time for highly marbled beef. We sell the beef by the hot hanging weight and then you pay the processing direct to the locker. You will receive about 55% of the HOT hanging weight in retail vacuum sealed packages. Once complete, you will pick Up your beef up at the Locker.  A quarter will weigh about 225 to 250 pounds HOT hanging weight.  Click here for current pricing.  To reserve your beef, call Brad at 303-990-0564.

We keep individual cuts in our commercial freezers so our customers can enjoy beef right away.  You call us to order as many or as few individual cuts from our available cuts list.  You can also purchase our pre-selected bundles.  You can pick the beef up at our Ranch or we can make arrangements to deliver/meet you.  To ORDER your individual cuts or Bundles call brad at 303-990-0564.
